70TH Annual Association Meeting All churches are encouraged to attend this once-a-year meeting. Share how God has helped our churches in 2022 to accomplish his Great Commission and hear what direction our Association is taking in 2023 to continue to Grow the Kingdom

Association Churches with no Senior Pastor: Household of Faith, Stockton, Premier Iglesia, Stockton

Church Revitalization Team who represents our wide diversity of churches to help churches experiencing hardships whether financial or otherwise.

2022 Woman’s Retreat September 16 -18, 2022, Mi-Wuk Village, CA. This will be a Tri-Association Woman’s Retreat for all women 18 and older.

District Youth Camp June 26 – 29, 2022 Children camp June 28 – July 2, 2022 At Calvin Crest We need to Pray for our kids

Association Positions: Rev. Dan Mahaffie retired from the Nominating Committee; Sister Frances is now our new Chairperson and Pastor Daniel Watts was Nominated to be on the nomination committee.

Financial Report our giving is up and as a association we are Healthy. We Received a one-time gift of $909.89 from the Southern Baptist Conference Association was placed in the general fund Financial Report receipts were up 37.0%.

Pastor Dave introduced a Ministry called “Scriptures for America” out of Lebanon Tennessee they want to broadcast Messages from Pastors to the world using short wave radio. It can reach into Countries that are unable to get internet. Way to spread the word around the world Rev. David Garner, Brother Glenn Pitts and the members of Berea, Stockton!

Corona Virus Update: Many churches are either online only or doing a hybrid.

District Camp Board Corporation Per Julia Berryman is still trying to find a location.

We still have open positions fill.

June 26 – 29 Sun-Wed. Youth Camp – Calvin Crest, Oakhurst, CA. June 29-July 2 Wed-Sat. Children’s Camp – Calvin Crest, Oakhurst, CA.

Woman’s Retreat (Renew in God’s grace) date is set for September 16 -18, 2022

Financial Report receipts were up 41.0%.

Delta Valley Baptist Association 69th Annual Association Meeting Michigan Heights, 3156 Michigan Ave. CA. 95204

 Call to Order at 9:15 am

Churches present - 13 Messengers present - 24, Messengers via Online - 1

Total number present - 25

 Adoption of Agenda – T.A. West moved Dave Garner 2nd Approved as printed, no objections.

Great Commission Association of Southern Baptist Churches- Dr. Mike Stewart Executive Director of Missions

 Adoption of Minutes – T.A. West moved Dave Garner 2nd. unanimously passed.

 Introduction of Miscellaneous Business - None

 Nominating Committee Report - The written report was voted on and unanimously passed.  After the Financial report Dr. Watkins said that he is willing to be our associations Clerk.  Sheila Allen motioned and T.A. West 2nd. motion passed

 2022 Calendar – Accepted

 2021 Financial Report - Karen Burni presented the report and Budget for 2022. The budget was unanimously passed. Dr Campbell announced a sizeable check from Guide One and stated that if our churches would use them as their insurance carrier.  He also stated that if there are no losses during the year the Association gets a portion of the savings.  This is one way that the churches in our association can help contribute to us financially.  Dr. Messinger said that several months of 2021 we had to pull from savings to cover expenses.  With the letter he sent out in June many have stepped up their giving and that is so appreciated.
