Delta Valley Baptist Association 69th Annual Meeting
The 69th annual meeting of the Delta Valley Baptist Association coming Saturday, October 9, 2021 promises to be a turning point for the association. We have been talking about an every church strategy to Replant, Revitalize, or Reproduce. At this annual meeting, we will describe a plan of action with every church functioning like members of one body; there is an essential role for every church is a Kingdom sized agenda. I have invited Dr Johnny Rumbough, DOM/AMS for Lexington Baptist Association in South Carolina, to be our keynote speaker. Johnny has used a church replants process to help healthy churches discover their best future. He will share with us how this Futuring Process works there and assist us with implementing it as our Rethink Process. I urge you to attend the annual meeting and bring your church leaders and as many church members as you like to discover how this process can work in your setting. I have enclosed the annual meeting agenda with starting times for each portion. At the very least, come in time to hear Dr Rumbough’s message. I look forward to seeing you then.

Event Name: Into The Harvest - Worship Summit
Description: WORSHIP LEADER SUMMIT, APRIL 25, 2015, 9:00 – 10:30 AM
Worship Leader, Choir Director, Music Leader, or whatever title your church has for the person who leads in worship along with the pastor, your participation is requested at Delta Valley Baptist Association’s Into the Harvest worship leaders’ summit, “More than Music.”
Our summit leader is KEN CAMPBELL - Minister of Music at FBC Linden
Ken has many years of experience with music and worship: touring as a college student with a music team, singing in choirs, participating on praise and worship teams, as well as leading worship teams.
Ken is very committed to helping congregations be involved as worshippers, not watching worship. He has become a student and a leader of involving people in the worship service.
The time together at this worship gathering will include the following:
1. Some valuable input about Worship
2. Some discussion about what we are trying to accomplish during the worship service
and practical ways to do this.
3. Brainstorming ways to involve others in worship, praise, and elements of the service.
4. Actual participation in doing some of the very things that are talked about during the
session.
Each participant will leave with some vision and enthusiasm for their church, as well as some practical tools that have been practiced.
